The Baltic Opera in Gdańsk is pleased to invite everyone to the presentation of the Romantic ballet Giselle choreographed by Emil Wesołowsk (Act I), and Izabela Sokołowska-Boulton and Wojciech Warszawski (Act II). ). The piece refers to the present, among others by transposing the setting to a contemporary seaside resort while retaining all of the original Romantic premises.

Club Żak is pleased to announce the open call for The Residency/Premiere 2020 contest for a project of contemporary dance performance realised within the framework of the 12. Gdańsk Dance Festival. The applicants are welcome to submit contemporary dance performance projects. Selected projects will be realised in Club Żak from February to June 2020.
Applications should be sent by 2 December 2019, 4 pm, at the latest.

Short Waves Festival 2020 announces a call for entries for the Dances with Camera competition, which is an international competition for short films whose common language is movement and dance. Dance productions from all over the world, regardless of their form and genre – from feature films, through documentaries and animations, to experimental projects and choreographic impressions – will take part in the competition.
Until 30 September 2019, you can submit your film for a lower fee! (Early Bird Fee).
The deadline for the submission of films is 30 November 2019.
The films for the Dances with Camera competition can be submitted only through the FilmFreeway portal.
