Warsaw: ”The Score – Intensive 3D practice with Michael Getman” – workshop

27 April 2019 | 11:00

On Saturday and Sunday, April 27-28, the Warsaw Dance Department will hold a workshop The Score – Intensive 3D practice with Michael Getman – the variation of a personal approach towards choreography, composition, a creation of the personal score. Movement and physical language, creative practices, composing and de-composing, individual score and collective dynamics.

About the workshop:

The workshop is articulated through the discovery of structures and physicality that could come from languages, dance, theatre, sound and visual references… Focusing on the emerging qualities of the present moment, the elements are combined and recombined, contexts and contents are changing, encompassing, integrating, exploring and communicating in a continuous process of transformation. Multi tasking, juxtaposition, spatial awareness, correlation between thought and movement, sound and action, enabling skilful, playful and spontaneous physical and verbal outcomes that builds towards choreographic scores and development of physical language. How to communicate a thought, idea, image? How to share your idea within collaboration? How is it to watch things, to observe, to listen, learning how to see with your ears and watch with your eyes? We will take decisions and create new forms of being, dancing, experiencing, sharing…
