In 1964, on a tour of the group in West Germany, a local film studio shot The Rite of Spring preformed by the Polish ballet. Several years later, Igor Stravinsky, being for the first time in post-war Poland, chose Danse sacrale from The Rite of Spring performed by Elżbieta Jaroń for his biographical film produced at that time by Columbia Pictures. In the Teatr Wielki, with its temporary home in Roma, Elżbieta Jaroń created many unforgettable characters. She danced with such dancers as: Feliks Malinowski, Zbigniew Strzałkowski, Janusz Smoliński, Wojciech Wiesiołłowski, Gerard Wilk, Jerzy Makarowski, Stanisław Szymański, Dariusz Blajer, Zdzisław Ćwioro, including performances abroad, in many European countries and the USA. In 1972 Elżbieta Jaroń won a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and Art at the School of Contemporary Dance in London. In 1974 a TV film “Dance by Elżbieta Jaroń” directed by Jadwiga Żukowska was created. It was rewarded at the International Music Film Festival in Besançon, France. In 1976–1980 she studied pedagogy at the Music Academy in Warsaw (graduated with honours).
