The "Open Door" choreography workshop is an initiative addressed to young choreographers who would like to spread their wings as artists. The workshops are addressed both at professionals and those with no prior choreographic experience; there are no age limits (everyone is welcome to participate).
Send your application to email@example.com by 18 March 2018. After this deadline a jury will select 10 most interesting applications, whose authors will have an opportunity to create short choreographic forms to Polish music featuring the Wrocław Opera Ballet.
The final presentation of the choreographies created during the workshop will take place on 29-30 June 2018 at the Wrocław Opera, followed by presentations in Dresden and Ostrava, heldas part of our partnership with foreign cultural institutions. Works by Polish composers of the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries to be used in the choreographies will be announced over the next few days on the Wrocław Opera's website.
