Katarzyna Antosiak – one of the most outstanding graduates of the Secondary Ballet School in Gdańsk. She also graduated in sociology from the University in Gdańsk (2010).
During her studies she cooperated with Modern Dance Group – Gabinet Ruchomych Obrazów. Winner of an award from the Head of the University in Gdańsk (2010) for her artistic achievements within the group.
Since September 2010 she has cooperated with the Sopot Dance Theatre. She took part in a Joanna Czajkowska’s performance White and Red (Wybrzeże Theatre, produced by National Centre of Culture, 2012), and currently she takes part in the following performances of the Sopot Dance Theatre: Vitruvian Man (2010), Dali (2011), Nature (2011-2012), FAST ACT – The Art of Disappearing (2011). In 2012 she will take part in new performances of the Sopot theatre: Morphologics and Habanera.
She won a scholarship of the Prime Minister (2004). She was also awarded a scholarship of the Minister of Culture for cultural achievements and the winner of the 1st price in the Wojciech Wiesiołłowski National Dance Competition in the category of contemporary dance (2005).
